Ocean View Estate Wedding Photography

Ocean View Estate  Wedding Photography was captured at the gorgeous venue located  at Mount Mee. It was a beautiful day for Bernice and Cody as well as their daughter Evie and close family and friends of the couple.

Ocean View Estate is a fabulous location for a wedding, presenting everything you need from quaint cabins to stay the night in and get ready at through to a beautiful lake front gazebo for the reception and intimate reception area not to mention too many stunning places for photos!

The day began with some beautiful surprises, the first being the unveiling of the couples family/engagement album that we designed and had made just in time for them to have on their special day. Bernice was so excited to go through it and was quite emotional looking through the beautiful images from their session now preserved to last a lifetime!

The next biggest surprise was a stunning Horse drawn carriage from Drayhorse Shires that Bernice’s Mother-in-law surprised her with to pick her up and escort her to the ceremony. It was a magical picture and left everyone in awe as the stunning shire horses pulled her towards the ceremony in an elegant white carriage at Oceanview Estate Winery where they all waited by a gazebo in front of the beautiful lake.

It was a picture and even though the rain began to come pouring down as the ceremony started, there were no sad faces here! It was getting heavier so the couple quickly moved in further and all the guests huddled in as close as they could under the lovely gazebo to make a very intimate exchanging of vows.

Throughout the day the rain continued on and off, with patches of Sunshine which we were determined to catch! We were able to capture some intimate couple shots of Bernice and Cody around the estate and they didn’t seem to mind the rain one little bit – after all, the day was all about them, and no rain was going to ruin it for them!

The reception was also held at Ocean View Estate and was a very emotional evening with happy tears shared by the couple as they celebrated love, trials and triumphs that they  had been through to get to this moment in their life. It was a testament to their tender relationship which includes little Evie, who has obviously left her mark on so many people as a bright happy little girl that the two love so dearly.

It was such an honour to capture this couples wedding day and we wish them all the love and happiness in their families future together.

Some of the brides favourite details of the day

My fave details from the day were the surprise of the horses and carriage (Drayhorse shires) – I defiantly felt like a princess! It was amazing being taken down! Seeing Cody’s face for the first time when I got the ceremony made my day and made me feel like the whole thing was worth it. Spending time with family and friends and being able to relax and speak to most of them was amazing! Also having it rain and have everyone huddled up inside the gazebo made the ceremony a lot more intimate and less stress to have it all perfect!
